Falls Creek Mountain Bike Park
Overview
Falls Creek is an alpine MTB park on Victoria's Bogong High Plains, sitting at ~1,500 m and best known for 56 km of singletrack across 21 trails plus 150 km of backcountry trails, with 600 m of vertical drop. The network was substantially expanded in 2022 with three new blue gravity flow trails (Skyline, Downtown, Heavy Metal) and now serves as one of Victoria's two flagship resort-tier alpine bike parks alongside Mt Buller.
The mountain runs as a Nordic-ski resort in winter and flips to MTB from mid-November to late April. Shuttle uplift is provided by Blue Dirt from Howman's Gap and the village. The park hosts the MTB de Femme women's enduro festival each March. The famed Mystic-to-Falls Creek backcountry route through the alpine plateau gives the destination its biggest day-trip pull.
