Mt Buller
Overview
Mt Buller is one of Australia's largest alpine MTB destinations — a 1,805 m peak in Victoria's High Country with 120+ km of cross-country singletrack plus a lift-accessed gravity park serviced by the Northside Express chairlift. The mountain is most famous for the Australian Alpine Epic, a ~40 km IMBA Epic route from the summit village to Mirimbah at the mountain's base, plus iconic gravity descents like Klingsporn (1907 vintage, 1.5 km, 220 m vertical), Copperhead, ABOM, Outlaw Express and International.
Riding spans the full vertical from the village (~1,600 m) down to Mirimbah (~480 m), with the Mirimbah Shuttle and chairlift returning riders to the top. The 2025/26 green season is investing in 10 km of new trail development and ongoing upgrades [1, 2].
